DIRT VULTURE
Brand Name Commission
The first-time winemaker for this private label cabernet sauvignon wanted a gritty, attention-grabbing name that paid homage to the landscape of his family’s vineyard in Sonoma County.
Dirt Vulture was the one as soon as I presented it. It ticked all of the boxes we’d discussed and captured the spirit of a brand that had yet to be born. In name alone, it creates intrigue just sitting on a shelf, and a world of its own before you’ve opened the bottle or tasted the wine.

Implemented more lifestyle-driven content that felt less like the more corporate style utilized by larger wineries.
Photographed or commissioned more candid action shots, giving new life to their still-framed grid.
Visually showcased the family-run winery aspect.
Found unique, inherently authentic ways to implement soft selling techniques that supported business goals.
I did my best to digitally capture and mimic the inviting nature of EHRET’s tasting experiences and steered the brand away a manufactured posting style that could be utilized by anyone in the industry.
